The personnel of PPI are well trained and experienced to monitor the installation of drilled piers, shallow foundation, driven piling and augercast piles. Static load testing of piling can also be provided. PPI offers compaction control and compaction testing of soil and aggregate fill and base courses. All technicians are trained and certified to operate the area's largest inventory of nuclear gauges.

SOIL TESTING 

PPI operates a well-equipped soil mechanics laboratory capable of performing a full range of laboratory soil tests for geotechnical design and the construction industry. The laboratory is subject to periodic rigorous inspection to maintain AASHTO and COE certification. All testing is conducted in accordance with latest ASTM procedures.
